This project aimed to design and develop a coat influenced by heritage pieces, cultures, business activities as well as social and fashion trends. With those facts in mind, the up-cycling challenge was inspired by two essential garments and traditional shapes that, through time, have developed into new classics; The Wester Suede jacket and the Pea coat.

 

These must-have garments embrace the past— a juxtaposition of materials, threads, details, concepts, and styles – and represent the present.
